Frequently asked questions
Where are my photos and other media processed?
Photos, videos, and Live Photos are processed on your device. Except for images you explicitly submit for review, Boxpop does not upload your original media or exported creations to a server.
Why does Boxpop need photo access?
Boxpop uses photo access when you choose media for a Zine or another visual creation, and when you save an export.
What can I do if an export fails?
Check that the selected media is still available. For larger projects, try exporting fewer pages at a time. Also check that Boxpop is allowed to add to Photos in iOS Settings.
Do I need an account?
No. Boxpop has no accounts, ads, or cloud sync. Membership purchases are available through the App Store. Analytics and performance data are collected only after you consent.
How do I change the language?
Open the sidebar, choose Settings, then Language. The app follows your system language until you choose English or 简体中文. Your choice stays fixed even if the system language changes. Choose System Default to follow the system again. The interface updates immediately and remembers your choice. iOS manages the language of system permission prompts and keyboards.

When reporting a problem, please include your device model, iOS version, where the media came from, and the steps to reproduce the issue.
Submit your work
When you choose to submit your work, we upload 1–9 compressed images you select, required contact details, an optional description, app version, build number and iOS version for review and follow-up. Submissions are not published automatically. Images are accessible only to authorized staff and image metadata is removed on the server. Submission images, descriptions and contact details are retained as needed for review and communication; contact 524640912@qq.com to request deletion. Only submit images you have permission to share, without sensitive personal information.
